Every engagement starts with an onsite review and a full photo audit. From there, work continues offsite, with a weekly report so you always know what's been completed and what's coming next.

I'm Hayley Bunn and I founded Evenstar Dental Consultancy to provide non-clinical dental practice management support, working with a small team who've each worked in dental practices themselves. Evenstar works with practices across the UK, from a base in Dorset & Hampshire.
Sixteen years across four roles in a dental practice:
- Dental nurse, 7 years
- Dental reception, 3 years
- Practice manager, 2 years
- Business manager, 4+ years
That progression means the advice comes from first hand experience, not theory.
I still run the day-to-day operations of a live two-site dental practice alongside the consultancy, which keeps every recommendation grounded in what's actually happening in practices right now, from NHS dental contract admin to the everyday realities of running a busy site.
Evenstar's focus stays non-clinical: dental practice compliance, HR, NHS contract administration and financial admin, taking the stress and headache off practice owners and principals, so they have peace of mind the practice is running smoothly, even when they're away enjoying a well earned holiday.
The name Evenstar is a nod to Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, a lifelong favourite of mine. What's always stayed with me is the idea of people from completely different walks of life, pulling together toward one goal, looking out for each other even when they're apart and can't see what the others are doing. That's the spirit behind Evenstar too: steady support that's there for a practice, working quietly in the background.
